Vision for Church Planting

Our vision is to plant 1,000 churches over the next 20 years, aiming to reach 100,000 people with the gospel. Church planting is one of the most effective ways to share the love of Jesus, as it focuses on evangelism as its primary mission.

God is sovereign and will bring the gospel to the darkest places. We can be part of that, too. Let’s be fearless.

Current Projects

Church Planting in United Arab Emirates

Global Hope Ministries (GHM) is committed to supporting the Oromo diaspora in the United Arab Emirates. Guided by a Christ-centered mission, we seek to empower individuals with essential tools and resources as they navigate the challenges of a new culture and establish a new home. Standing alongside our community members in faith, we offer guidance, encouragement, and support at each step of their journey, fostering a strong sense of belonging and resilience throughout their transition.

Church Support in Kenya

GHM is dedicated to providing continuous support to Oromo refugees in Kenya, who have endured immense hardship and face ongoing challenges as they seek safety and stability. These refugees, often forced to flee their homeland due to political persecution, violence, and economic instability, arrive in Kenya with very limited resources. Many struggle with the trauma of displacement, separation from loved ones, and the uncertainty of an unknown future.

Church in Assosa South Sudan Refugee Camp Sherkole

GHM is devoted to walking alongside the many displaced Christians in South Sudan, a nation scarred by ongoing conflict and instability. Countless families have been forced from their homes, separated from loved ones, and have lost not only their possessions but also their sense of security and peace. These Christians now face daily challenges to meet even their most basic needs—shelter, food, clean water, and safety.

Why Church Planting is Important

Expanding the Reach of the Gospel

Church planting is a vital aspect of fulfilling the Great Commission. As we establish new congregations, we create opportunities to share the message of Jesus with those who may not have heard it. Each new church serves as a beacon of hope and a place for spiritual growth.

Effective Evangelism

New churches can focus specifically on outreach and evangelism. Unlike established congregations, which often juggle multiple priorities, church plants have the unique opportunity to concentrate on reaching the unchurched and introducing them to the love of Christ.

Cultural Relevance

Church plants can adapt more easily to cultural shifts and trends, making them more relatable to younger generations and diverse populations. By embracing contemporary methods of worship and community engagement, they create welcoming spaces for those who might feel disconnected from traditional churches.

Revitalizing Declining Areas

Many existing churches face challenges such as declining attendance and resources. New church plants can revitalize these areas by attracting individuals who may feel alienated or uninterested in established congregations. This renewal can lead to a resurgence of faith and community involvement.
