Welcome to GHM!
GHM (Global Holistic Ministries) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to holistic ministry. We believe in addressing the complete needs of individuals, recognizing that true care means nurturing every aspect of a person’s life. Our mission is to uplift those facing desperate situations by meeting practical needs and supporting them on their journey to realize their full potential.
At GHM, we provide educational funds for highly intelligent individuals who are unable to pursue their dreams due to financial limitations. We empower aspiring musicians who lack the resources to record an album by offering the support they need to bring their talent to life. We also stand alongside struggling churches, partnering with them to bring revitalization and new hope to their communities.
Our work goes beyond simply meeting needs; we are committed to transforming lives, one person and one community at a time. Whether it’s through educational opportunities, creative support, or spiritual revitalization, we believe everyone deserves the chance to thrive.

Our History
GHM was born out of a vision that Delesa and his wife, Ella, received during the outbreak of the COVID pandemic. It began as a simple online platform for the Oromo diaspora scattered across the nation, providing a space for weekly virtual gatherings focused on prayer, the proclamation of God’s word, and times of praise and worship.
As this vision evolved, it expanded to include college student sponsorship, church planting, and support for the forgotten, marginalized, and vulnerable members of society. Since its inception, GHM has sponsored aspiring musicians and helped fund underprivileged yet promising students in their pursuit of higher education, aiming to break the cycle of poverty for future generations.
Our Purpose
GWM exists to:
- Meet the spiritual and physical needs of individuals.
- Bring people from various denominational backgrounds together with the sole focus of lifting up the name of Jesus. We are a fellowship, the Greek word for fellowship expresses the idea of sharing, of having something in common with somebody else.
- Create a worship environment for those who tune in every Thursday. We intentionally vet out pastors and evangelists who are Christo-centric. The proclamation of the word of God is Bible-centered. We invite gifted musicians to lead us in praise and worship.
- Usher people into God’s presence and draw people to the unchangeable presence of God and experience His agape love. When a person becomes a Christian, we believe that through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the person is immediately made a member of the Body of Christ or the Church. “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bound or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit” (I Cor. 12:13). “We are members of His body” (Eph. 5:30).
All Christians, as believers, have been “called unto the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord” (I Cor. 1:9). Our purpose is NOT to replace the local church but to create a conducive environment where all the different denominations can gather for a time of prayer, praise, the hearing of the word of God, and fellowship. We believe there is power when the body of Christ unites to seek Jesus. We want to experience heaven on earth as written in Revelation 7:9, where the denominational difference is put aside, and we come to the throne of Grace to call on the name of Jesus.
